Let's Talk

This summer, Upper West Siders will see a delightful addition to their neighborhood: Pier 97, a new park facility that offers a mix of recreational amenities and quiet places to relax. Located where West 57th Street meets the Hudson River, Pier 97 promises to be a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

Pier 97, which is currently undergoing finishing touches, will soon open its doors to the public and offer a wealth of amenities to suit a variety of interests. From a playground to an approximately 120-foot-long grass sports field, the park offers something for everyone. Families can have fun in the splash area, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy soccer games or training sessions on the grass field.

While Pier 97 offers picturesque views of the Hudson River and breathtaking sunsets, its surroundings provide a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of the waterfront. To the north are Pier 98 and Pier 99, which house important infrastructure facilities and reflect the area’s historical significance and ongoing development.
